Cancellation insurance

Through the broker Phenomen, Compagnie Océane now offers as an option to all occasional travelers* a cancellation insurance to cover the unforeseen and last minute impediments.
*Card holders (islanders and subscribers in particular) who benefit from advantageous cancellation conditions are excluded.
You are sick, you have a transport problem, a road accident or your car is broken, you are stuck in traffic, you have a professional constraint, or one of your loved ones is sick, you have had a death in your entourage, a happy event has happened… Or you have another contingency.
If your impediment is admissible in accordance with the contractual conditions, the insurance product Meetch, market leader in ticket cancellation insurance, reimburses you for your tickets:

100% if you have the ability to provide proof of this impediment

A 70% if you are unable to provide proof of your incapacity
The insurance does not cover cancellations when you are wrong in the date or place of boat or when you cancel without reason or because of an event known at the time of subscription.
In case of cancellation of the sea crossing by Compagnie Océane, it is the own guarantees described in our general conditions of transport that apply.
Subscription to the Meetch insurance
Offered at the time of booking, we invite you to subscribe to the cancellation insurance on our website.
The amount of the insurance is 7% of the price of the full price tickets present in the order. No commission is collected by Compagnie Océane, this insurance premium is entirely paid to the insurer.
The subscription is validated at the time of payment of the reservation. You will receive an email confirming your subscription to Meetch insurance, including all your insurance documents and the terms and conditions in case of cancellation.
